Default Srt intake installed!

Just put it on!

The piggyback ecu worked fine gave me no problems no cel and everything's running good

Ran into one problems the old hose didn't reach to the new filter so I had to buy a generic hose at autozone

Noticed car has more power around 2-3k rpm and exhaust is a lot louder.

One thing is I put both hid ballest under the filter. Should I relocate them? Would the intake be sucking in hot air from the heat the ballest produces or should it be fine

Most likely I would guess that when you are driving, the outside air coming in will negate that ballast heat. I don't think that heat will make much of a difference anyway.

Congrats on the intake though

Wish SRT still had good customer service. I'd get one for my 300.

Looks very nice!!

Questions: Where did you bought it from?
Also, can the GS300 engine cover still fit with the new intake set-up in-place?

bought it used off a member on the forum. i think the SRT can fit with the engine cover on (on a gs300) but not sure. I had engine cover off due to my strut bar anyways.

Looks good, but ive heard bad things about those filters. They might let a lot of air through, but they dont do a good job at filtering

no it doesn't come with the carb sticker. I don't have a problem with it on when doing smog check. Need to get myself another AFE air filter on mine.
