Quick Audio Question (Nak)
Hey CL I recently had a chance to finally get my radio and backup camera installed. It came out perfect and I love the extra features and security of having a camera.
BUT I'm really disappointed on the sound quality. I Knew I was going to lose my stock sub but I didn't think it would make such a difference.
My question is if I install a small sub/amp will it sound decent ? Or do I have to go ahead and get all new speakers as well?
I don't want crazy bass just a little and some clarity.

I'd wire each speaker individually to the deck then yes buy a small amp for the sub and run it to your deck rca outputs. Just the speaker rewire might be enough because our door speakers are remarkable! Each one is in a ported enclosure, you should be getting some decent bass from them.

hmm, i just wired up a sub box and amp to my factory Nakamichi radio. The amp accepted high ( non RCA ) inputs which i just pulled off the factory sub speaker wires. My system sounds amazing considering the way i did it.
