Default Starting issues :(

Hello all I'm a new Lexus owner and new to CL.

I've been doing a lot of reading up on the threads and I can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for.

Seems like when I try to start my car all I hear is a "click" then a slight hissing sound. I already changed the battery and I don't wanna put anymore money into fixing it until I know what the problem is for certain

Any help would be nice, thank

Sounds like the starter not functioning properly.

Thanks for the info guys.

Anyone recommend a reliable place for a replacement starter or will any Autozone starter do?

You can get an OEM rebuild kit from Sewell for around $80. Easy to rebuild once you have the starter out.
