gs400 long ram intake??
i searched but couldn't find anything, i was wondering if anyone had ever seen a long ram intake for the 1uz-fe GS 400. i was also wondering if i just cut a hole below the stock airbox and extended the tubing down just behind the foglight with a pod filter would that work. im not sure if that made any sense so ill post pics later,i already have a K&N short ram but was just curious if this has ever been done
thanks
thanks

once again you club Lexus comes through, thats exactly what i wanted, and i know technically the stock box is better, but i love the sound of the cold air intake and the engine, im not too interested in power gains, they would be insignificant

be careful of big puddles/rain so u dont suck water into the motor and hydrolock it.... you could add a AEM water bypass if you are concerned about it...
also could look into this....but this really wont add anything either

thanks, that was an interesting read and i learned a lot. i live in maryland and we get ALOT of rain, in fact its raining now, so im probably gonna put the bypass in. what about one of those sock things that go over the filter to keep water out, think that will work? if so ill do the bypass and sock
thanks
