Go for it.

I have the K&N FIPK intake on my GS400. I love it!

Koufax,

I have the same K&N FIPK on my 00' GS400 and I love it as well. I extended the piping into the wheel well to further keep it from the hot engine bay air.

Rock-a-Lex, do you have any pictures of your cold air setup? I'd like to see how you routed it. Thanks.

Looks good. That intake looks better than the RMM intake that i have.. I like the sound of my RMM but the K&N looks like a better fit...

Rock a Lex: Great looking system. It reminds me of the 00-04 Dinan ram air system except they did two. Did you install the K&N FIPK and then exstended it? If so did you feel any improvement in performance and engine bay noise? Anyone have the RMM air system or is the FIPK just as good?

why did you close the lower air dam? seems like you could have better airflow with it open.

Did you notice any improvement in performance/power witht the addition of the RMM intake?

Also, how much noise does it make? A little - a lot? And does anyone know if the RMM or the K&N is quieter?

I'm thinking of either getting the RMM or the K&N ... any comments on the pros and cons of each would be appreciated!

Thanks!
