How many miles did you have on it? I'm not sure about Texas, but here in Florida JDM 2jzgte Aristo swaps are only about 2k. I would go that route if you don't just rebuild your stock motor.

250,000 miles, I was looking into that going to see if the shop its at can possibly find one for me and see about installed price. As I have a toddler and work full time so would be worth having them do it much faster than I could.

To build a 2j-gte right with supporting mods it'll cost around $10k+ when it's all said and done with most of the work done yourself. Stock 2jgte would be in the same range ($8k) if you're having someone else do it. Remember a shop won't cut corners if they are top notch. But your car would be running right.

+1 on LSx swap. But if you wanna go Jeff's route, make sure your pocket is steep and expect delays on driving being some parts are custom fab..js

Thats not totally true, your probally talking about him doing a big single w/full standalone, if thats the case then yeah your looking probally $6-8k in just parts. In a 2gs you can do aristo swap and stay with the stock twins, factory aristo harness(pretty much plug and play), and a few little things. I'd think you could get away with it for $4-5k if you stay with just a stock tt gte...Can anyone with more experience chime in?
