Default Time to part

Well, the time has come to part ways with the GS. It's been a great car for four years and have had lots of fun with her.

I picked up an 07 Infiniti M45 Sport. Needed more room than the GS but have every intension of returning to Lexus when the right one comes along. I still have the Supras so I am still part of the "Toyota family".

I'll be selling off quite a bit of stock stuff--most of the aftermarket (coilovers, sways and SRT intake) is gone. Shoot me a PM or email (dm19959 at aol) if you are looking for something (suspension, headlight bezels, door sills, speakers, cd changer, etc) and I'll see what I have.

You guys have been extremely helpful with the GS and appreciate all of your help!

Not mad at you. Always loved the M45S. Its my 1b car of choice. Only down side is the gas mileage.

Since you left the "Toyota family," you could've at least got the M45 Sports with the kit... Sell out! =p Good choice though, I would've gotten that if I hadn't stumbled onto the 2GS. Just sayin'. GL with your new family!

LOL, I checked with my buddy at Infiniti and he can get the "aero kit" for $738 -- comes factory painted as well. Maybe....Throwing the Teins on this weekend. It's like a 4X4 right now but handles pretty damn good.

I don't like the styling of the 3GS and LS I have no interest in, Just have to wait till the next Lexus peaks my interest.

2GSC300 - the gas mileage is not that bad, I was surprised. Over the past 2 weeks on one tank full I averaged 19.8. 368 miles on the tank, 18.5 gallons to fill up. About a 50/50 split highway/city.

You said you needed more room, but I didn't think the M was that much bigger than the GS?

Mucho bigger in the back seat. a bit wider as well. Much more leg room in the back. My teenagers were cramped in the back of the GS when I drove.

Well GL with your build buddy. I would definitely get the kit after you slap your teins on. You're pretty much set at that point unless you're doing more. 19" stock rims + factory kit + drop = satisfaction! I agree the 3GS doesn't look "appealing." The 4GS looks similar to the ISF if you ask me.

Same thing the Infiniti, BMW, and Mercedes boards have said about the GS.

I'll let y'all know any problems I run into.

I'm in Woodland Hills. All stock stuff, speaker boxes, subs, sways, stock struts/springs, floor mats, engine cover, mirror covers, bezels, door sills, front brakes/rotors, etc. I only have one (drivers side) led mirror cover, new.
