Default Some smoke on start up when car sits?

My 00 GS400 has 195k miles on it and I have recently noticed that when the car sits for 48hrs or so (doesn't happen very often) that it will smoke some on start up. The smoke does have a slight blueish tint I think. Like I said it doesn't usually sit for very long so I haven't seen it smoke that many times. Doesn't smoke at all when started and driven everyday. Car runs and drives like a champ and feels rock solid. Maintenance has always been done on time and the timing belt/water pump was changed for the second time at 190k miles. Is the smoke anything I should be worried about? Head gasket isn't about to go out on me is it?

If its light blue, it's more likely your head gasket then anything else. Maybe you will get lucky and it be something else. I'd check it out right away.

Valve guides starting to wear. I would not worry about it till it smokes when warmed up.

Just in case I'm wrong check your oil level if it goes up then you may have a head gasket blown (water in the oil) usually head gasket makes white smoke (when the engine is warm not the white smoke in the cold morning) and your valves should be making a lot of noise (cuz coolant don't lubricate too good)

I'm having an identical issue with my GS400 o similar age. I had just started another thread before I noticed this one, if I discover anything with my car I'll be sure to put my solution in this thread as well.
