I bought my first GS430 about two years ago and yesterday I picked up a second car as a project car. The new car is an 01' with 198x,xxx miles, it's in decent shape for the miles inside and out. I've been watching craigslist and autotrader for months and think I got a good deal at $5450 out the door. It runs and drives great, I drove it home 7 hours yesterday from NC to TN. Car pics from the dealer.






Oddly enough it looks just like my 04' GS430, but it's just a coincidence as I would have taken any color to get a 01'+ GS430.

for 200k miles that car is in prestine condition! have you ran a carfax on it?

Carfax was 8-9 pages, the car was well serviced over it's life and it shows. It was on lease for the first 80k miles, so service during those miles was impeccable. I'm only the third owner, so the second owner too took very good care of the car it appears.

The car will be getting a 5.3L, 4l80e, and turbo swap soon.

I'll be posting up to sell the stock engine/trans as soon as I get my garage cleared out to work on the car.

that is a great buy... im glad to know that a GS430 can look like that at 200k miles...

i have the exact same color combo as you except without the wood steering wheel... that looks so nice!!!

 

It looks good in the pics, but has the normal wear in reality. Still it's not ripped or completely worn like many I've seen with far fewer miles.
