yea mine are like that. the inner (outer) ones glow brighter only w the trunk lights.

Mine are the same way, they only light for parking but do have 7443 bulbs in them.

If you want them to light up it's easy enough just tap the third wire to same wire on the adjacent bulb.

I might do this to my DEPO LEDs. Can't stand how the outer set of LEDs are only parking lights.

lali, this is just for you guys who converted to 2001 tails? i thought my inner/outters did light up together

 

I kinda think that is the case.. Since the light/harness has the wires and a 7443 bulb, I'm kinda assuming that the car harness side is just missing the pin (or pin in the wrong position) that would power that extra bulb when putting 01+ in a 98-00.

 

I believe mine all light up in the rear as well (inner/outer). Along with the brake light on the wing. But then again, I do have a 00.

Good DIY in case I do decide to go with 01+ tails
