Default Help me find my leak?

So a little background story, i noticed an oil leak. We thought it was the oil pan gasket. We took out the oil pan found that there was no gasket, just silicone. So we put on in and added silicone. And we also noticed another leak. Weren't too sure what the hell it is. So we left it. Fast forward a week later to today, i jacked up the car and took some pics.

I also have another mystery problem where i make a squeaking noise/rattling noise(like putting a stick in a fan) when i accelerate. Anyone know what could cause that?

Anyway, here is the leak, anyone know what it is or where its coming from?

Its found here.

Its on that silver part, and the pan/tank there. Anyone can tell me what they are?

My guess would be the rear main seals.

While under the car, can you see any oil ABOVE the oil pan itself? You could have a leaking valve cover gasket leaking down the making it look like the oil pan.

And FYI, Toyota doesn't use gaskets on their oil pans. You could have made it worse by putting one on. They use FIPG (Form In Place Gasket). I highly recommend the factory Toyota stuff, which is black in color, and also pretty pricey but is really good stuff.

Can you take a sample of your trans fluid to compare to this one? Also a sample of your engine oil too. This could give clues if it's trans or engine fluid/oil.

I have the same exact leak and its not from my valve cover. its either rear main seal or oil pan and in your case its not the oil pan.

Seems like rear main seal. ***** job, but doable.

I would doubt that its trans fluid. The trans fluid is a redish pink color

I didnt know the oil pan had no gasket. Thats interesting. But if the sealant from oem is black, when we removed it, it was white/beige

Yes, trans fluid is redish pink when it's new and clean. It turns darker if not serviced well.

White/Beige would indicate that someone has removed it and resealed it in the past.
