Default Retrofit

Was thinking about doing the Q45 retrofit

What do you think about those generic one from ebay for 200 a pair?
will it works with bracket from lexus mod and fit in our llight

Yes I know I know it looks cheap but Im not really caremuch if they do fit in our stock head light like the real one plus my car is not a show car or any thing just wana improve the look.

Also I have no experience what soever about car fixing or modification lol. The only thing I did was swap out the head light and rear light and diy oil change and that was it. So I might just gona try retrofit this a cheap one incase I F up just to learn and experiencing. Atleast it is not so pricey.

please comment and thanks in advance for the tips.

If you're just going for looks and don't want to spend much then do it.

Do a search bc there's a thread on this...

There's a thread on this. They're mainly for looks, but I heard somewhere that their output isn't that great.

Ls430 Retro!!!!!!!! You wont every use high beams again. I had the M45 retro at first for looks and let me tell you.... the ls430 was way better. I would recommend that above all else. Like everyone says tho if you are going for looks go for the Q45.

those cheap ebay ones are not HID projectors, only halogen. you can put a hid in them, but output will be scattered.

No the bracket will not fit, the bracket is for a q45 projector :duh:

if you dont have experience, I wouldnt recommend you doing them. You'll end up ruining your headlights. If you can get a spare set to work on, then go ahead. Getting the fleabay ones, you'll have to do a lot of fabricating on your part in trying to figure out how you're gonna mount them in there. For that price, you're better off finding a set that Luxury Mods has a bracket for (there are quite a few that are unlisted) and doing it right.
