Default Headlight Outer Rubber Seal

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone has replaced the outer rubber seal on their front headlights. Since my car is a 98 the rubber is really starting to deteriorate and break apart. I went to my local Lexus dealer and asked if I could get the rubber seal but all they sell are the headlights as complete units. My headlights still look great considering they are 13 years old so I don't want to replace the whole things. So does anyone have any ideas where I could get this rubber? Thanks a lot guys.

Maybe some generic weather stripping from an auto part store or a hardware store?

You would be hard pressed to get the rubber seal (outer) part for the headlights ALTHOUGH they do make them. (I know for a fact they make the headlight seals for the sc)

You would have to be able to take off the current weatherstripping and make sure all of it is gone so that the new seal would fit.

You could get the kits from autozone/advance and try those, but you'll need to make sure you create a seal/bond.

Call the dealer and ask them, they'll be able to give you a better idea. I checked sewellparts and theres no dice.

I went to my Lexus dealer a while back and they said they don't have the seals. I am going to try and ask a body shop when I get the chance.
