Default Speedometer !!!

What cases the speedometer to stop showing what speed your going? This happened to me today and idk what it can be i pulled it out and all the plugs seems to be fine. Can it be a fuse !

fuse, trans speed sensor, yawrate sensor or abs speed sensors. i'm leaning towards abs.

smh and I do have my abs lights on! maybe if I clean it. Might start working again !

Do the ohm test. You don't even have to remove the sensor. Search for the threads on how to. Report back if you can't find it.

disconect battery for 5 minutes and it should work

^ can you stop posting things you dont know about? Thats misinformation. ABS/vsc lights do not reset themselves by pulling the battery.

yes they are on! they came on 4 days ago, after I changed a few suspension parts and I took off the caliper and disc ! some guys told me to do a pin reset but idk how to do this.

If there is a faulty ABS sensor (wheel speed sensor) then you can not get rid of the codes by any method other than fixing or replacing the sensor. One you fix/replace the sensor the codes will go away, at least they did on my car....plugged in the new sensor, started the car and there were no codes. I did not "reset" anything or disconnect the battery.

Ok. Obviously, you got a bad speed sensor. You would need to bring it to a mechanic that has a scanner that is able to read ABS. GL

no one was not talking about the abs, I was responding to cluster not working.

also you may want to check your vvti seleniod and the oil screen below the seleniod if its clogged it will through the vsc and abs code. also faulty o2 sensor aswell.

it could be anything tomorrow I will take the disc of and try to clean the sensor if that does not work, off to the mechanic I go. I hope I don't have to buy this sensor and I'm also goin to check the fuse for the speedometer!
