Default Hid kit ddm

Planning on ordering 35w ddm tuning kit for 98 gs300 and was wondering............ If i want the highs and the lows do I need to get a hi/lo bulb or is that what the dual in dual out harness is for......I'm really confused and just want hid's in my high and low beams.

The hi/lo are two separate bulbs on the gs.

got the same year gs i got some 9006 for lows n 9005 for hi and 9006 for fogs but my DRLs r in the same reflector as hi but not the same bulb get it.. n to answer ur ? you can not have hi n lows on the same headlight reflector on a 2gs unless moded. so if u got a 9006 u should b fine but if u want hi HIDs u have to buy another set of 9005 HIDs

so if i buy a separate set of 9005 Hid bulbs for the lows they can still be powered by the same kit that is powering the 9006 hid bulbs for the lows correct?

So for high's and low's to be effective i can use one kit but I need to just make sure i get the bulbs for the lows and the bulbs for the highs right.

Please tell me i'm right lol but not if i'm wrong lol

You will need two kits, a 9006 for the low beams and a 9007 kit for the high beam. You will need two separate kits. you cannot run both bulbs off one ballast. The dual in/dual out harness is used to put less of a strain on your factory wiring. with the harness your factory wiring is only used to trigger a relay, and the lights are powered directly from the battery.

Hope this helps some.

Ok so I'm figuring this out now.....using one kit to power the lows 6000k bulb.....I just wanted the city lights to match it so if I get bright white led bulbs for the inners that should be enough for a color match between my outer and inner tailights? That's all I really want

The DDM kits are great, I've used them for years now, in a number of personal and customer cars. They handle warranty issues fast, and they rarely even have a problem. I have 3 55w sets in my GS, high, low and fog. You have to disable your DRLs, following any of the diy instructions, but otherwise you will be happy. I also have matching white LEDs in the other bulbs, including the city lights. Looks great at night.
