Default Bodykit: Need Your Opinion

Imagine a silver 2nd gen. GS. There are 3 bodykits in front of you. LSportline, Veilside, and WALD Executive.

*****If you do not know what exactly they look like, do not respond in this thread.*****

Assuming that you can get each kit (front, side, and rear) for the same price, which one would you pick?

L-Sportline. I don't care for the Executive (third place). Veilside looks better on 1st gen GS IMO.

for practicality: L-Sportline, Wald, VeilSide (in that order)

for rarity: Wald, Veilside, L-Sportline (in that order)

for looks in my opinion: VeilSide, L-Sportline, Wald (in that order)

gee weez, they scored the same!

I personally would mix and match for unique-ness and functionality, for example L-Sportline front with VLS sides and rear. But that'll probably ruin the package prices. If I had to get things in 1 set, I would go with VLS out of those 3 (L-Sportline is too common in SoCal. I know and you know.)

So here are the update:

front bumper: LSportline

side: LSportline/Veilside old/Veilside new

rear: Veilside old/Veilside new

Need to decide the side and rear now!! Keep your opinion coming!

i'd strongly suggest the look of the L-sportline front, as the rest are just funky. the veilside skirts are best, but only really go with the rear, which i believe l-sportline is best again. but that requires their exhaust or an extension of some other exhaust. so l-sportline front and OLD veilside skirts and rear basically

Wald, Wald, Wald...

L-sportline - WAY too common...doesn't look that good IMO (it's OK)

Veilside - Love the rear bumper but like DaveGS4 said, looks better on the JZS147....

Why only those three kits though? There are so many more to choose from...

I've seen WALD Executive on a silver GS. It doesn't look as good as I thought, like the one on the black Aristo at Hyper Rev 69. Kind of disappointed but I'm glad I found that out before the order is placed.

The problem with bodykit is I can't get the one I really love. Yeah, I know, you will give me the speech that with money, you can get everything. But I just don't think I'd spend almost 3k on bodykit plus additional cost on paint, installation, and modification. After 2 years of trying to get my dream kit from Japan (I called them and left voice message, and email them) the frustration has built enormously thru time. I'd rather get something I can really get in the states with a reasonable price.

One thing I hate about dealing with Japanese.... they quote me the price and as I'm ready to order, they stop responding?! Considering the shop I contact is an authorized dealer.....

Mike,

We need to talk. Check your PM.
