I don't regret it at all. I love knowing that I can take my engine to 200K without worry. A turbo modded I6 would not have me as comfortable. Not only that, but I purchase my GS400 used two years ago. I only paid a small increase from a used GS300, worth the extra grand or two...

No way in hell...There are about 9 million 300's in atl, and maybe 50 4xx's. I tend not to get too caught up in modding my cars, they should impress me on their own stock merit...And mine does.
If I wanted to run with an M5, then I would have bought a freakin M5!!!!

nop, i will not give up my 400 any time. once you have driven the car you will really appreciate the low end torque. plus, i would rather get the 400, wait till i have the money, and get sc for the car.... there is just never be enough mod for a car, so why not get a better one from the beginning?
my theory is always, get the top model to begin with.

I have had a GS400 and a GS300, both are great I must admit. The GS400 is great for stock in terms of performance, but is a bit limited and the GS300 is good stock, but could use a bit more grunt. I am about to get another GS300 because with forced induction I have so much more flexibility and range with the GS300. The GS400 is perfect if you dont want do much to it and not put too much effort into it - which is why I sold the GS400 My plans for the next GS300 will probably be extensive to some, but hey thats me - having double the rwhp of the GS400 with ease is where I aim for.
I think it just comes down to personal preference and most of all each persons use.
For the ones that want to compare a full blown GS400 and a full blown GS300...hmm that would be an interesting one...but thats a whole other post...

Nope, car is PLENTY fast for me now....When I make some more money down the road, I may Supercharge the current GS as the only other car I would buy now is a OLD SC 400 or a 996 Porsche or Aston Martin (Maseratti looks good too). I am AFRAID of the styling of the next GS......

i am just wondering, why you get two same cars (at least style) and not try something else? just wondering.

I have done the research with the turbo/sc GS400, dont get me wrong..its feasible and will work, but for me I know of and experience a lot more capability with the 2jz series motors. Weather saying which one will be faster than the other..hmm too many variables... but 600+ rwhp will work for me
I'd rather trust Toyota factory 2JZ-GTE with HKS turbo than SRT's supercharger/twinturbo. Just a personal opinion.
