Default guys on air. compressor fail

my compressors fails to turn on after reaching below 165psi. i changed the relay and pressure switch but still the same issue. any ideas.


it just stop working and only turns on once in a while

Does it turn on at all? Get the compressor and hook it directly to the battery and make sure its still functional.

What gauges are you using? Analog or digital. Could be reading wrong pressure.

Make sure the pins on the switches and connectors are not bent. I had an issue where the compressor wouldent turn off past the set psi. Pins were bent and not connected.

i bought a relay and new pressure switch... turns out to be a bad ground... Fail!!!! what a waste of money hahaha. problem solved. thanks guys.

haha what a noob. watch out for live wires. i melted my wires, connectors,relay when the power wire touched the chassis in the backseat
