Hi everyone. Just bought (02/07/03) my first Lexus, it's not bad. I've owned just about every import brand, my '03 GS430 is my first LEX. It's silver with charcoal interior, has 68k. Wanna lower it, but not sure whether to get springs or dampeners????? Can anyone tell me how to take apart my center console? Think I got something stuck under the cup holder cuz the lid dosen't open all the way. Thanks

 

Congrads and welcome. Sometimes the same thing happens to my cup holder. Just slip ur figure when is slightly open and press down on the cup holder separator. That should work.

 

That didn't work I took a closer look, there's deffinitely something stuck in there. Help, anyone?????????? Thanks for the suggestion though.

There's something keeping the cup holder lid from opening all the way. You can just barely see it with the lid open as far as it will open, towards the bottom of the holder. Hope that's discriptive enough?

Welcome to CL and congrats on the new GS. The divider is in the wrong way. One side is rounded and the other has a square corner. The rounded corner needs to face the door side.
