Double Din Dash Question

Default Double Din Dash Question

Hey, guys i own a gs 300 but handed it down to my girlfriend. As we all know Christmas is coming up and i was planning to get her a double din. The question is how do i match the plastic of the dash kit to the plastic on the climate controll? theres no point on doing it if its going to look ugly and off colored so please help me if you guys can.. and don't smash on my thread

buy mine $40. . . . it's oem, matches the rest of the dash perfectly.

Mine never came with the brackets. I never would have used them anyways. I just used my oem GS ones and this trim ring snapped right in place.

Mine looked like that without the cage...You can order the brackets for about 40 dollars or so A La' Carte from Carson

Correct with the Oem bezel you do not need any other brackets! you can simply use OEM factory pieces. One problem i found is that the OEM toyota japan double din bezel is cut too large for some double din units, I have a alpine w-505 7" screen and there is over 1/4 inch gap around all of it, but when i switched to metra fitment was perfect. In the pic i hav e the metra bezel on and the OEM on backward facing just to show the gap on the right side.

i still think the 10 dollar one on ebay is worth every penny, it looks and fits perfectly

thanks for everyones help. But in my opinion lexusscturbo's double din looks flush and clean and the dash kit matches, thanks again guys
