You have to replace the whole arm. The balljoint is integrated into the control arm.

I just replaced mine with the Beck Arnley ones. Perfect fit and car even drives better (no more noises and looseness. Not perfect, but much better)I also installed the Daizen steering rack bushings and Prothane sway bar bushings.
Note:i replaced the arms because the ball joint was
dangerously loose.

rockauto.com has them.

I got mine from advanced auto parts for $125 each,no tax. I work at a dealer so i got a wholesale discount and it went
under the dealer name, hence no taxes. Very similar price to Rock Auto with shipping and a coupon code. But i figured i'd just go down the street and get them.

On my almost 12 year old car, these aftermarkets are just fine. They looked pretty much the same as the OEM. Not only were the ball joints really loose, the bushings had alot of play too. Killed two birds with one stone in replacing the arms. Be sure to "exercise" the ball joints before installing the new arms, same goes for lower joints too. This means you rotate or move around the threaded shaft of the joint to distribute the grease evenly to prolong it's life and reduce/eliminate squeeks.
