need tires
I Like the mx4 but dont wont to pay $700 plus. looking to go cheaper the ones i have now have 41000 miles and the thread looks good but two of them have flat spots in them not sure how that happen i rotate them every 10000 miles.
rotate and balance every 4k?? No need to balance the wheel/tire every time u dismount and rotate them.
just rotating is good. 5k is optimal. 10k is to long of a wait.
im rollin on nitto nt850 premium n so far they are good to me. extremely quiet and smooth. www(.)nt850(.)com. and a WHOLE lot cheaper than the mx4. ive also had the falken 512... they are ok tires but lil on the loud side.. and grip wasnt as good. tried the falken 912 as well n they decently good. just not up to parr with the 850... but better than 512.

I just replace the Michelins on my 01 GS430 with Sumitomo HTZIII from NTB. They are about $125 each if you go thru tire rack. NTB is more expensive. I was very skeptical about these tires. So far they have handled well heat and rain we have here in the Houston area. Very Quiet. Only have about 1,000 miles on them so take it for what is worth.

I have the Bridgestone Serenity's on my car for summer, snows for winter. Check out tirerack.com. tons of good info for comparing tires. I wanted something that was quiet. they are wearing well as well.
