Default Some updates...

1st I've had some exhaust leakage for a moment now and I've realized my exhaust was rusted out from the Y pipe to the 1st resonator. All were removed and new pipes were fabricated deleting the resonator. Now she's more responsive to throttling especially with the E shifting ! No hard rumble at idle but, when I'm reaching 4k RPMs' WHOA!!! she's really nice. A little less restriction goes a long way!!!
2nd some LS430 wheels were picked up and I think they look pretty damn good on a 2GS.

wouldn't it have been about the same $ to buy a used aftermarket exhaust as fabricating the oem exhaust?

wheels look ok for a temporary rim nothing permanent IMHO,glad u got the exhaust fixed and your liking it now

Not at all the total cost was 150.00 I don't ever recall anyone selling a used exhaust system for that cheap.

As for the wheels and the fix thanks. I like stock OEM although Lexus isn't as flashy as other brands but, it's easier on the car, and on my pockets.

400 bux? Wow that's a damned good score! It must really sound terrific!! I'll check You Tube for the sounds.
I'm just feeling my way through the wheels and so far I like what I have. Because of a slight wobble, I've read where the lug nuts would need to be changed. GS nuts won't seat into the wheel properly for LS wheels. Now I have to find equivalents. After Hunter balanced tires and true wheels I kind of figured something was strange. Thanks to the search tab I found out.

Unfortunately, the law around here does not appreciate rumbly exhaust especially in the residential neighborhoods. Tickets are just given out!! On Long Island, the law seems to be more tolerant.

I like the wheels. Did you delete the side markers from the front bumper?

Thanks Debonair!!!
The previous owner had it set up that way, and the bumpers have no body work done to them so I see they were made that way...

Thanks bro I'm glad that you like them. I feel they look understated, but classy in a sporty way...
