Exclamation need some help/advice

today i was coming home from work, and i was at a red light waiting to make a left turn, as i looked down at the dash just for the hell of it, all of a sudden the check engine, VSC, and VSC off lights all come on at the same time!!....does anyone know what could be the cause of this, and does it have anything to do with the abs or master cylinder??

yea, go to a shop and they'll hook it up to the scanner and you'll know whats up then, $$$

i recently had the same problem, VSC lights... car wouldn't accelerate. it ended up being the accelerator, kind of like the throttle position sensor. 290.00 from the dealer, shop price. but i do it all this myself, so i just pay for the part.

The VSC light seems to be one of the common problems with the 2gen GS along with the lower ball joints. Try a search on this. I know there is a ton of information on here about that pesky light. I haven't had problems with it yet but many others haven't been as fortunate. Good luck...

Get the codes pulled so you know for sure. It could just be an O2 sensor on its way out. You are just guessing until you get the codes read. Good luck.

And if there is an issue with the VSC, I've searched VSC and look what was pulled....

You should invest in an OBDII scanner man... One of my best investments yet... And as everyone said you need to pull the codes to know what it is that triggered the engine light... OBD scanner should cost you no more than $200. Mind you, this will be for a decent basic one, but on the other hand, it will save you $75 everytime your engine light comes on... Put it this way. With my past experiences, I must have had my light come on about 10 times. That's $750. Now $750 - $200 = $550 I saved... Plus all my friends I helped out along the way... Sorry to go off the topic here but I just thought you should know...
