Default Rear toe adjustment is seized, advice?

Got an alignment over the weekend and dude said he couldn't adjust the toe in the rear on one side because it was seized up. He didn't have a part available to replace, but said the labor would be like $50.

Anybody know what the part name or part number I'd need to replace is? I thought it was called like an eccentric bolt or something. How bout some DIY instructions to save me the $50 labor? A picture of said bolt would be immensely helpful.

Thanx

Get the Megan IS300 rear adjustable toe arms. Its not hard at all to do. Search, there are a few write up about these.

I don't want aftermarket control arms... I just want to replace the seized bolt, lol.

Guy at Firestone said the adjustment couldn't be made as the bolt was seized, so I assume the latter.

Here's what I've gathered so far from talking to Lexus dealer and Firestone:

Lexus: There's two bolts, one toward the center diff, and one toward the wheel, which one do you want, sir?

Firestone: Not sure which one it was last weekend, but our notes say "toe eccentric bolt seized" lol.

I might jack the car up this afternoon and put a wrench on both to see which one it is.

If it's the adjustment one, do you know whether its toward the center of the car or the outside by chance?

I think replacing the entire control arm is overkill. The seized bolt just needs to be cut out and replaced.

Getting the IS300 Rear toe arm will not fix anything if you cant remove the bolt that holds the OEM arm in.

I think the locking nut might be seized.. Try taking a breaker bar to it and see if it frees it up. If you can add a long **** poll to give you more leverage and torque.
