Just putting my two cents in.
I don't think the car was built worse then any other Lexus,
It could just be that the person who owned it before you didn't take care of it.
Didn't do tune-ups or maybe even drove like a dumb ***.
Lucky when I got mine, the previous owner cared about his car
and when I got it, belts were new, oil was Mobile1 and he only had used platinum tip spark plugs.
If I was you I'd take it to Lexus have then see all the stuff wrong with it,
get a price then see if its worth fixing on your own or some where else.
But its your car and do what you feel is right.

You bought a used 10 year old car what did you expect? I don't know why you state these things as problems since its just maintenance. Gl
