^^^From his old key assembly ( key and transponder). Buy the new flip style case with a blank key, switch out the guts ( transponder) into the new flip key. Then go get the key blade cut to match your car. Done

Sent an email to nyc auto parts and they called me within 5 minutes and said that the post office has had some delays due to the storms and i should have it this week...great customer service!
yeah i order from nyc auto parts and they (postal office) supposely the got confirmation (and tracking number) feb 24, but i'm still waiting on Key!
Same with me, I guess there's a delay due to all the winter storms dumping snow everywhere. The USPS Tracking # is stuck at the same status for a week now.
for the peeps that are wondering about switching the buttons/transponder over no worries, when you open your key with the tiny phillips screwdriver the one piece including the buttons will come out and drop right in the other housing, it's almost retarded how easy it is. One thing though...try not to open up the whole housing otherwise you have to twist the spring back up and put it back together so it will flip again. I would just open the bottom of it while holding the top and slip your buttons in there and close it real quick, save ya some time. If that makes any sense hope it helps.
I've had this for a couple of weeks and it does seem like it's a bit low on the quality side. The locksmith told me that the metal was softer than normal as well, so it may not last as long as a genuine Lexus key. On a personal note, the size is fairly huge, I wish it was smaller.
