Those Luxury Mods lights are very bright. They fit perfectly in the door lights in the corner of the door too.

Yes, since they are universal they work well in the map lights too. They are good in the dome light too but I would get a larger board if you want something really bright in the dome.

They are not bad since it is only a 6smd board , much better than stock though.
If you can find larger ones you can fit 24 led's in the dome and trunk then use a 12 in the map lights . I use those 6 boards for the bottom of my doors.

not bad either but not all LED's are created equal .
The only way to compare led's is with lumens . I don't trust anyone who won't or can't show a side by side comparison of their LED's next to a filament bulb.
the 6 board is probably about 100 while the 48 is 300 but 5 times the size and while brighter is not as intense so the light does not throw as far . Think of using 300 leds which will equal the output of a headlight but the light form the leds are only a few feet .

Hey guys, just found this thread now. We carry mostly the 6SMD (3-chip) panels because they will fit virtually anywhere! We have some 12, 15, and 18 SMD panels on the way! We can get it all!

Anyway, most other panels use 2-chip SMD's, these 3-chip SMD's are brighter

We have a special running in the Vendor Classifieds:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/clu...some-free.html

We also did an install on a 1st Gen LS400, used 10 panels in total...pictures on that to come later...

i looked at this thread and would be nice if u wouldnt mind re-taking the pics below with the doors shut and the dome light on ONLY...give us a true view of it without the door lights and the foot well lights

also the one bulb even after doing a complete led swap i think needs help is the footwells. got anything better for them?

Inside view on GS430 w/ 1 panel in the dome.

I'll retake some more "professional" shots soon and repost.

I also have more LED bulbs coming that will work well for the footwell. Slowly gathering info & will have a complete line up of LEDs for you guys
