Before getting into complicated replacement which means evacuation, etc. why not check for leaks first. Then try 1 can and see what happens.

There are no Leaks. The compressor holds Freon, its just not circulating

Your high side readings are low and your low side readings are high, you got a bad compressor. A bad or clogged expansion valve, would show vacum on the low side readings on the a/c gauges. When you replace the a/c compressor, be sure to change the a/c reciever/drier bag located in the condensor.

your on the right track but not quite there. yes his readings are low on the the high side (depending on the rpms) and a little high on the low but its STILL not 100% a compressor. if its stopped up yes the expansion valve would show vacuum but if its just bad and still allowing freon to flow through it then the pressure will "read" weird i guess it best way to word it. i mean we do use a electric expansion valve dont we? (i dont think i honestly have EVER looked lol and i am a heating and air guy) so all it does it regulate the expansion valve open/closed depending on the temperature.

your welcome man. least we are starting to get somewhere...you have the new readings on the high and low side now that your getting some cooling? does it get colder as you move or as air circulates over the condenser?

this may be a dumb question, but is it possible for freon to leak from the condensor? Is the condensor where the drier gets replaced? I'm trying to get an idea of it all as I have a compressor, drier kit (not sure what the diff is between kit and just the drier), and expansion valve. My compressor is seized (where you can normally grab it and rotate it), and it sounded like the freon was audibly leaking from the compressor area...just making sure I don't need a condensor as well.

Edit: also just thought of this....what problems would cause the compressor to seize? I still haven't figured that out...maybe I can savemyself some cash if I figure out why the compressor just won't turn...is it because there's no freon at all and that's what's required to keep it lubed?

Default A/c problem

You have a bad compressor. From the readings you have internal failure. Note when replacing the compressor you should replace the receiver dryer also.
