Today I had ac serviced on lexus sc400 1993.

Engine was swapped month ago from a lexus 95 . I knew car had leak before on ac 2 yrs ago but never fixed it.

There was no low pressure service valve anywhere after engine swap. I knew car had leak before on ac 2 yrs ago but never fixed it. I know low pressure valve must be on car to locate leaks and to fill freon.

Ac mechanic did leak test and decided to changed o rings on compressor, he rebuilt low pressure hose on compressor so it has a low pressure valve built on it and new hose , vacuumed ac refilled with r134 freon . Blowing cold air that was around 4 pm .....few hrs later ....

car will only blow cold air on MAx cold ....

If I adjust the temp to 65 or higher or reduce from max it will become hot air only!!!!

Any ideas....

I would take it back and have them check. You might still have a leak
