Ok dudes... I finally got a better shot. I am now using the digital cam... Here si what the emblem looks like on a 99 gs and I also got the 2001 gauge panel with silver rings. What do you all think???

Looks good, now if you change the shifter ring with the chrome one, grill and tail lights, you could pass it off for a 01-02 model

If you crash, you could end up with a permanent "L" on your face or it can hit your eye when the airbag pops out. On the 2002 models, the badge is properly reinforced through both sides of the airbag cover.

If you just glued that badge on, one day you could seriously regret it.

Well, I am not too worried about the L hittitng me in the face. IF and when the airbag deploys, it will push it to the side. I did some research on it. I am not worried about it. If I was, I would not put it on there. As for the part #, I am not sure, but it is found on the early eddition ES250's as a trunk emblem, and on late model ES300's under the hood.
