Default help please!

also posted in the lighting forum lol butttttttt

i have a 2002 gs300
okay so i've read a whole bunch of threads and searched but cant seem to find an answer.most threads say that you cant get led's for daytime running lights to work properly with highbeams and what-not cuz drl run at 50% or somethin.
i have 8000k hid's for the lowbeam's and 3000k hid's for my fog lights.
i wanted to know if i could get a bulb/color for the DRL that matched pretty close to my 8000k lowbeams...
or are there any other solutions/advice of what to do?
cuz the original bulbs look ugly together with my hid's ><

Why not just get yourself another set of the same 8k HID you have in your lowbeam?

Also I hope that you do realize when your car headlight is off the DRL that kicks in is actually your high beam that is on and not the little "194" bulb. If you want a matching set for when your headlight is on (the small inner ones they are size 194) than use led and check out the site that GS_Fiend. I personaly use Luxur brand led for my licen plate that I think may look similar to some 8k kits on the market.

Also check out the following sticky link under "Lighting" to give you an idea of look and style.

If you want to run an LED in your DRL, you would have to use module that will allow the LED to light up to 100%. The link (www.v-leds.com) has the module. Here is the link to what I'm talking about: 9005 DRL Lighting Module. Post pics of your results! Good luck.

okay i dont really care about what color it is when my headlights are off...so what would i need to get if when my headlights are ON that the inner headlights would match pretty close to my outer lowbeam headlights?and i rarely use my highbeams at all.if you could post a direct link to what led or whatever i need it would be GREATLY appreciated :]

Than what you want is the inner. The light bulb you are looking for is size 194. You should really do your search again. Other people and myself help you enough with the links above. I praticly did the search for you. GL
