Default Thinking bout buying 2nd had GS

Thinking bout buying a gs but i'm worried about the timing belt. Car has about 125k and their(toyota dealership) not too sure if it was changed. Also what else should I look for when buying a used gs?? Its a 99 model dealer is asking 8k, but I think the kbb was at $6300(good con.)

Yeah their idiots. They keep calling me with different offers and I keep telling them i'm not paying more than kbb. Plus the car is not in very good condition. The grill is painted black, lots of paint chips, radio display is jacked up, someone drilled a big hole in one of the doors, no floor mats, the moldings/trim(bottom molding/trim) on the front doors are starting to rip off, etc...,etc...

yes keep looking. but usually, dealers charge more because their cars are better kept. plus they tax and whatnot. i got mine from a dealer too

make sure timing belt is done. u dont want to have to pay for that yourself

Its hard finding a gs with black interior. But if they give me a better price I may reconsider...
