I asked my freind who works at Lexus, He looked up the difference between the mainland console and the Hawaii console. The difference is the frequency it transmits on. Hope this helps you out.
Thanks for the information. I was hoping the Hawaii version would have a sunglass holder in the overhead console. On the GS4 the place where the garage door opener resides is designed to be a sunglass holder, but I can't find any part number for the sunglass door. Someone on the board said they had a '98 GS4 with a sunglass holder in the overhead console. The camary XLE has a sunglass holder in the overhead console, but it will not fit GS4.
Bit, I'm not sure what frenquency we have out here, even my friend at Lexus is wondering why we a different part number from the mainland.
GJSGS4, I never heard of a GS having a option for an overhead console, when I oerdered my GS I took every option except chrome wheels, overhead console for sunglasses wasn't one of them. Be like me just put you glasses in the center console.
To confuse the issue more, I had a '98 GS4 with a sunglass holder in the console (maybe it was just a Guam thing). I crashed that car but its on the road again. If you really need the part # I can ask the current owner, who happens to work @ the dealer, and possibly get the part #. Let me know.

I would really like to get the part, but the part number would be great. Thanks...
