Trunk doesn't have VIN number!

Trunk doesn't have VIN number!
hi guys,
i'm looking to buy a Gs 300 for awhile now, today i look at an 04 GS300, very low milage 20,000M and the interior is very clean, meaning the leather seat about 90% new. Carfax show this car never been in an accident before, all doors and hood got original VIN stamp except the trunk. there was no VIN on trunk, could it be a replacement or aftermarket trunk? can someone let me know if your 04 have VIN on trunk or which body parts does VIN number usually stamp on? thanks

It's under the carpeting inside the trunk. The dealership tried to pull a fast one on me and not fix my trunk hinge by telling me that my car has been wrecked before. They underestimated my knowlegde of the car and that trick didn't work lol.
