hey guys. well i bought my car couple months ago and its a 93 Gs300 and never used the cigarette outlet because i always charged my phone at home and i don't smoke. well i just got a new phone this weekend and they gave me a charger for the car and i said why not use it. well i plugged it in and it doesn't work. the one in the back works but the one in the front doesn't work. i would just leave it in the back but its really inconvienient to be charging the phone from the back because the cord is really tight and i just don't like the way it rub againts the seat and gets caught in the crack.

How do i fix my cigarette outlet.

 

I'm not sure if your front and back seat heaters are fused seperately. If so, it's likely that the previous owner toasted the fuse. Check da manual..........

 

i had same expirience, apparantly you not all plugs can plug there, for instance i could fit there the one from my anti radar, but it works fine for my cell phone charger. so i'd probably suggest you to get another charger or try to fit that one in, it might need some skills to do that or charge your phone inside of that things that between driver and passanger on the right seats (sorry i dont know how it calls)

 

oh and another thing i forgot to suggest is check fuse that might help too

 

That would be my first bit of advice - then look for a newer, phone charger, like form Best Buy that willmore than likely fit into a number of auto outlets

i know on my GS300 my cig lighter doesn't have power.. just a cig lighter, but the one in the glove comparment does have power (talking about G-Tech pro here) so that may be it... otherwise check the fuses

 

i don't think it has ever been used before because the cigarette lighter thingy is spotless and clean. i tried playing with it still no luck. the cig lighter doesn't even work. so it can't be my charger.
