It has a lot of miles, 1998 GS 300 with 136,249 miles... Its a lot but i dont know much about Lexus and how long they can last.. So please check out the car and let me know if you guys think its worth it. TY
it's not about the miles on the odometer but HOW those miles were driven and maintained. This applies to any car, not only Lexus. A GS usually takes a beating more than most cars but if an owner neglected to change oil since day1, it's not going to last as long as it can.
Do your research, don't rush and don't buy a GS just bc it has some "dubs" on it.
Like most members already mentioned. Check for service (Timing Belt, Seals, water pump, window actuators, EVAP Core leaking (water under the floor mats), ball joints just to name a few.

I second that opinion. It's not a bad deal, but its not as good as you could get. If you really want a GS you can find a better deal than that with lower mileage and possibly service records. If you want it becuase the stereo and rims then I guess go for it, but even then there are cars for sale on this forum with quality mods that would still be a better deal than that GS you're looking at.
I say pass......if you going to look at a 11 year old GS, find one that is completely stock that the owner is a bit older and maybe they are the original owner. Based on the stereo and the wheels and the tarded emblems on the back....i would be scratching my head. Good luck and be patient.

+1 for that.
Personally, I don't like to buy used cars that have been modded. You never know who did the installation and quality remains a question mark.

i dont like buying someone's modified toys unless i know thge guy and know the history of the car. thats why i WONT buy a bike used no way 2 tell whjats been done to it, plus most people wreck bikes and fix them half-assed. engine bay looks nasty imho. plus detail job looks like crap in pic of side of seta there is a rubber band on the floor....what a detailer. plus you notice he removed part of the gs badge. it doesnt even say gs300 nemore just gs pass

+1 beside I think the price is 2 high for that kind of mileage. Even thought, the service has been done. Just spend a little more time to shop around and I'm sure you'll find a better deal somewhere else...IMT, welcome to CL...
