wow... unbelievable what people would do to nice cars...I try not to park too far when I am at the gym (mainly b/c the gym is where most cars are broken into). However, I park hella far if I go to walmart (scared of shopping carts ramming into my ride)

Sorry bro. Good luck on the claim.

Get an estimate from a shop for the current claim and see if they could/would do something about the other damages on the (same) quarter panel.

That's a good idea..bc...I had an accident long time ago with my other honda accord, when I took it to the body shop thru my insurance they fixed what got hit during the accident, but talk to body shop manager to see if they can do something about the old ding...they took care of it...they did charge me very little for it..check to see if they could do something like that for you...

Some shops will make deals. Their getting paid for the work anyways, after all thats what keeps them in business. How did your other ding happen? IMO if it happened in the same manor, not necesserly the same person or time, you might as well get that fixed too..

Okay so here's the deal. When I called the insurance company i just played dumb, like i didn't know what happened. When i took the car to the shop, i just let them believe that all the damage happened at the same time. And so the Lex will be in the booth for a full paint job. The only down side is that the damage on the rear quarter panel was so bad that it's already going to cost a lot to fix(the shop i took the car to charges a lot of money). And everything else included is pushing it really close to the point where the insurance company might just total out the car. Which is still cool with me because i will just buy it back when the cut me the check and take it to a different shop that charges a lot less.
