Help!! Wierd knocking sounds...

Default Help!! Wierd knocking sounds...

I got a 98 gs300 with 80,000 miles on it. It seems to have knocking at accelerations and sometimes at low speeds. It sounds like it coming from the center console area. My car is also stock hieght. What could it be

knocking or rattling?...rod knock?

does it go away when the car is warmed up?

is the knocking repetitive? or does it just happen once? does it happen when your shifting? and what octane fuel are you running?

It pretty much happens all the time. once i accelerate it happens. i don't hear it if i'm going at a faster steady pace.

sorry but u gotta be more specific, knocking where??as in the engine? or exhaust, inside the car...explain so we can help

it sounds like it's coming from under the dar by the center console. you can actually feel it knocking too.

i have that problem too but as i accelerate mines make a long beepnoise like a airplane lifting...its weird and it bothers me anyone?
