i have a 93 sc400 193000 miles, when ever i drive my car i hear air leaking sounds or something like that, and while gassing my car on high rpm's i hear a sound as if my car was super charged even though i know for a fact my car is no where near supercharged.
so what might be the problem?

 

How long have you had the car ? how long have you noticed the sound?

 

Through the radio? Electrical interference. Maybe from an after market stereo.

Under the hood? Might be a pulley on it's way out.

Hole in the exhaust? That could make that kind of sound too.

The thing is, no one can read your mind.

If you want a thorough answer, you gotta provide thorough information.

 

ive had the car for about a month now and the sound started a couple of days ago.
ill try to come up with a recording of the sound and hopfully that will help

 

nm guys it turned out that it wasnt y engine in the first place it was my transmission going bad, and im getting it rebuilt
