Default Tint Kits

I am thinking about tinting my windows although summer is almost over. I would much rather do it myself and use the saved money for a higher quality tint. I was wondering if anyone knows of good self tint kits to buy online or wherever. front - 35, rear and back - 0. also with a light green/blue reflective. Thanks

Ceramic tint has the green/blue hue if you like? Also I think they have "green" window tint i've seen in Socal if you're interested?

I know this doesn't really help you much, but I'm a DIY guy and tint is one of the few things I'd leave to a pro. I've done it before and it never turns out as good as a professional will do. Maybe you're better at that sort of thing than I am but if you haven't done it before, keep in mind that it's not as easy as it looks!

I also recommend taking it to a shop. There's a lot involved with tinting like heating and shrinking the tint to fit the curve of back window. Solarguard is also really good tint.

I recommend taking it to a shop as well.

the only time I've had it come out nice is when we had all the glass out of the car. it looked great for a while but we put the tint to close to the window edge and it ended up rolling back and coming off

There is nothing worse then a **** tint job that is peeling/bubbling on a luxury vehicle. Pay to have them done correct the first time, you will be glad you did. OR you can try to install them yourself, **** it up, and then go have to have them installed.

Do something right the first time and it will never have to be done again.

on top of having it done right the 1st time, most chops charge between 50 and 75 bucks to take tint off, making something cheap like tint into a more costly ordeal

Agreed, mine had some 50% tint on it when I bought it, it looked fine at the time but it's progressively gotten worse in the last 4 months. Little tiny bubbles and now there's a bigger bubble in the passenger window that's killing me. I'm lucky I've got a friend who used to work at a tint shop and will redo the whole car cheap.

I don't think he was talking about taking tint off. I think he was referring to tinting his windows.

just get it done at a shop man, no worries and a warranty are better than doing it yourself and being dissapointed.
