Wink Interior light conversion.

Well I'm done with my orange conversion. I also installed 4 LEDs where's garage opener on headliner, so light smoothly goes down on center console(like in bmw or audi), looks very luxurious at night, and now I like my interior much much better then boring corolla-like green. Check out my video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvs9x7DJcmU

Please tell me your opinion, like it or not? Thanks

EDIT: PLEASE SWITCH TO HIGH QUALITY WHEN WATCHING!

so you're trashing on the factory interior lighting, and yet didnt have the follow through to do the gauges and thus have a mismatched interior which looks pretty bad IMO....

i mean good work on what youve done so far, but you have to go all or nothing. I see you've owned a civic, that kind of stuff flies in that community, but i'm just saying be prepared for what people are going to say.

if you do the whole thing, id say it would look good, but you have to go all or nothing my man

I'm with jcat. Great job on what you've done so far, but if it doesn't match, it's gotta go.

I personally decided on my nav system(AVIC-F700BT) because it was fairly cheap, supports iPod, and allowed me to match the lighting with the factory interior. I have no idea how to change the color of the gauges or the clock... So until I find out how, I'm leaving the climate control unit illumination color alone.

I took apart gauge cluster but I realized that there's no bulbs or LED's so I don't know how to change it Also I read here where one guy wanted to change gauge cluster color using leds and he had a lot of hot spots, so it didn't turn out good. I would love to change gauge cluster too it's just I have no idea how

And please STOP referring me to civic WTF? You were born and drove Lexus right away or what? You were driving some POS as well, so please don't using civic. Btw my civic interior was completely stock, I got this idea from BMW, I love lighting there, stock green looks like I'm not in luxury but like in some econobox car.

I assume that you wouldnt replace, you would add.. the LED's would be bright enough to over power the green in there. He probably drilled 3 holes above each gauge and inserted an LED in each one to point down as to not see the direct bulb and dot... just gotta figure out the right type of LED to use.
