the car comes with hood shocks, not a prop rod. If the hood doesn't stay open itself (it seems as though you have a carbon hood, in which case stock hood struts would not work) you need new hood struts. Carson sells them, sewell sells them. I don't exactly know what to do in your case since you have the carbon hood, i think i remember someone saying something about lower pressure struts since the hood is lighter talk to one of the guys at carson, they should be able to help you out. Though i will say, they won't be too cheap...
i have some ill shoot em cheap make me an offer? but warning though i took em off cuz i have a seibon carbon hood and it was pushing the carbon up and leaving big gaps in the hood so most likely if u bought the car with carbon f hood the previous owner tookem off for a reason?
