My drivers side inside door handle won't open the door. I now have to roll down the window and open the door using the outside handle a-la hood style. I think this may be an easy fix but I would like a little guidance from the board.

I really don't want to take it in and have the dealer rape me with no lube over this but it is getting quite annoying rolling the window down to get out of my car!!

either the hook came off or broke. take the door panel off and check it.

 

yea, that "slot" that the hook goes on is a very strong piece of plastic that NEVER breakes!!! (sarcastically said) that little "clip/slot" can break in time...
