Fact or Fiction
So I've noticed that on an OEM suspension or lowering spring setup, the passenger side of the car is a bit higher than the driver side. Someone told me that this is inherent to the platform of the GS due to the way the roads are curved and that if you make the sides even (with coilovers) you'll be driving crooked.
Fact or Fiction?
Doe anyone have their coilovers set even on all sides?

not sure if its fact or fiction, but i had this problem when i lowered my GS on Tein CS V.2. not sure if its the left or right, but one side had to be brought down slightly more. not sure if its a coincidence or the natural build of the car.
i think its like that on a lot of cars. My buddy had his g35 on some springs, and noticed that one side was higher than the other. Friend with an accord had the same problem, so maybe a lot of cars are just built like that?

The guys over at the 2IS forum swear this happens to them also. I wonder if it is because of the road... but sometimes when I park at a completely leveled surface, the passenger side still looks a tad higher. Maybe it's because the springs settled a bit differently since I was the only one (adding additional weight) in my car for a week while the springs were settling. Or maybe because I take the freeway onramps (left loops) and it makes the car squat more often on the driver's side? I dunno.... it's 92 degrees today and my head just isn't right.
Actually this is because all Lexus are "self leveling cars". They will level themselves out, no matter what the road surface is, so it may look crooked in the relation to the road, but its because the road itself is "crooked". If you put a level on top of the car, it will show you perfect level. Of course this function has a limit, i believe up to 10 degrees or so.... It would be physically impossible for it to level out on something like 45 degree slope.
Yeah, just kidding

driving crooked?
LOL, dont think so...
if u ever get to see the stock settings for ur cars alignment, for perfect alignment, the toe on the right side is set slightly different than the left side. i asked about this, and the mech said it was the factory spec to correct for the crown in the road. the crown in the road is made to aid water run off to the side instead of pooling up.
