HAHA, Ya I did start it up when we had the resonators removed before we installed the straight pipes.... It was HELLA LOUD.

Ya, so IMO removing just the straight resonators really doesn't do much. It was kinda cool to stand under my car today and check it all out. I wish I had my camera.

I'm looking into some mufflers now. kevin.tran removed his resonators and installed a couple magnaflows, I wonder which model he went with.

Yeah, you can install some Magnaflows or Borlas, or any catback. It will sound a lot better.

i just had my local muffler shop install two flowmaster zx series mufflers and my car has a nice deep throaty sound not too loud but just right you know a mature sound and car feels quicker off the line. i was thinking about going with straight pipe and removing the resonators but i dont know if it would be too loud then. oh yeah for both mufflers and the welding it cost me about 231 with tax. for both resonators it would be another 90 dollars plus tax.

Hey id you don't mind what seris Magnaflows did you go with? And do you by chance have a sound clip?

Thanks for your help.
