Unhappy Time to move on...EDIT-PICS OF NEW RIDE!

Hard to believe it's been 4 1/2 years since my first post but yes, the GS is going away !
By far the best car I have owned, but for several reasons, I wanted to move in a different direction and it is time!
Fortunately, I have a friend and coworker who wanted to buy the car as is (i.e. no "parting out") so it is a done deal.
I haven't been too active here on CL forums lately-busy with other stuff- and as the car interest begins to fade a bit over time...well, you know how it goes.
Just want to say how much I've enjoyed this forum and getting to know a lot of you over the years! Thanks to all who helped me with my car mods and questions...I hope I was able to return the favor now and then.
I will still be checking in occasionally and who knows, I may get into another Lexus someday!
Semper Fi...carry on!

I don't understand, everyone that I see selling ther GS says it's was the best car they ever drove or their favorite car ever ... So why are they selling it !??!?!? I love my baby, and even when I decide to move on to a new car, I am really going to try to keep this GS ...

To the OP, what car are you moving on to? please post up some pictures

not really that surprised. although a great car, the 2GS body style is pushing 10+ years.

i dont really knock the guys who are upgrading, some people choose not to ride cars into the ground and would prefer changing it up every couple years. you do only live once, as far as i know.

GL man, post your new whip!

I'm going to take a stab at it. You own a GS400 which is not that great on gas and with gas prices these days it is most likely is getting costly.

Since you are scared to post what your next car will be, my guess its going to be a FWD 4 cylinder car?

This move is smart IMO if you are going this direction. Especially if its going to save you moneyl

Once you get older priorities start changing. Nothing wrong with that. I am even thinking about selling my IS so I can have more down on a house!

Enjoy your new Ford Festiva. LOL. No need to be ashamed. When life changes it dictates many other changes along with it, cars included. I have not been here too long but i want to wish you luck with whatever you will be driving from here on out.
