Time to move on...
As far as a fun weekender car to mess around with I have recently seen a few used S-2000's running around annapolis (where I stay at) that have turbo kits. BTW they are much faster than the majority of gs4xx's out there. 240 hp stock plus a cheap turbo kit and your talkin 340 hp with no tuning; add some exhaut, headers, intake, a little tuning, and your around 400 hp in a light *** 4 cyl. (good mpg's) roadster convertable all for under 20k. i know its no 60's muscle mopar but its got me thinking about it...?... good luck out there man.

Yes, it's an '08 Camry Hybrid!
It was a tough decision when it came time to replace the GS4, but with gas shooting right on past $4 a gallon and driving 1,500 miles a month I was spending at least $350 a month just on MY car for gas (not including my wife's car). I am averaging about 36 mpg with this car and, while it's certainly no Lexus, it IS a real nice all around family/commuter car. Leather, NAV, JBL stereo, bluetooth all the goodies all for about $27k. Plus of course the Lexus wheels and tint (gotta keep modding
)It has been a HUGE change in driving style for me...all of a sudden I notice how aggressively everyone ELSE seems to be driving
Now I just kick back and cruise and watch the MPG meter on the dash. I have doubled my mileage and also save about $90 month on insurance too!The plan is to get myself some kind of "play" car to satisfy my craving for speed/power without having to pay for it as my daily driver. I am thinking some kind of 60's muscle car with a big block V-8 or something (really like 69 Camaros especially).
Anyway, as I said it's been a real pleasure owning and modding my GS and getting to meet and know many of you over the years!
It's becoming a real possibility...

Actually, there are some '07, '08 Camry Hybrids starting to be available on the used car market (the '09s are out now) so you could get into one for around $20k or less I'm guessing...
You just gotta be realistic about your willingness to change your driving style...otherwise you won't maximize the benefits and you'll be unhappy driving it.
