Sorry to hear that! It'll cost you a good couple hundred... check out some of PL Gazi's posts. He has some used stuff, maybe he has a window available. He's one of our vendors. Very reliable on price, and shipping!!

The door glass in the 2nd GS is a peice of cake to change.. should not take you an hour to get the old support out and put the new glass in.

Have you tried contacting your insurance company to see if they will cover the damages?

I agree. most insurance companies offer both comp and collision coverage for just these type of issues. I would suggest you look at OEM glass for proper fitment.

what you mean is your insurance price will rise if you report what has happened?

i doubt it'd worth the trouble by going via insurance route. deductible...rate hike...not worth it i think.

I went to that autoglass place on neptune av, near stillwell, cropsey. The one with yellow gates, sorry i forgot the exact name and address. On windshield replacement(non-OEM) for a acuraTL they did a fantastic job, done in 3 hours, seal held up strong for 4 years. But on a replacement of passenger side front glass(g35x) they messed up the window motor, had to come back twice to get everything fixed. But once done it was perfect. BTW, cost was about 3-4 times less than dealers both times, and $50-80 cheaper than a few bodyshops(yeah i went around and call quite a few of them).
