is the grill actually plastic and then plated w/chrome and then painted black?
or is it actually metal chrome that was painted black?

im just tryna figure out for shure cus im thinkin bout using the paint strip to do the grill-and in Minnesota, half the season here is freakin winter so i dont want the snow/rain to rust the grill.

 

I don't think its metal at all ... Should be plastic ... but do a search .. alot of members have done this already

 

i think its plastic w/chrome accents.

its plastic with chrome then graphite black, i took all of the black off.

definitely plastic. it's so light. try hold the jp grille (metal) and you will see the difference
